Meet The Founder

Darian Hall is a dedicated advocate for wellness and mental health, committed to making these services more accessible to all. In 2016, Darian embarked on a year-long journey around the world, a transformative experience that deepened his understanding of human connections and sparked his passion for mental health advocacy.

During his travels, Darian noticed a recurring theme in the stories shared by his male friends: a lack of accessible healing spaces for men. This realization inspired him to explore solutions, leading to the founding of HealHaus in the summer of 2018. Located in Brooklyn, HealHaus was a groundbreaking wellness studio that has played a pivotal role in normalizing mental health discussions within communities of color. HealHaus has since expanded to include online and corporate programming.

Darian’s commitment to his community is unwavering. Through HealHaus and the HealHaus Foundation, he strives to make wellness and mental health services available to those who need them most. His efforts have earned him recognition as a community leader, with features in The New York Times, Forbes, Essence, Men’s Health, and other national media outlets.

Among his accolades, Darian received the Excellence in Action Award for Physical and Mental Health in 2019, Hennessy’s Never Stop, Never Settle Entrepreneurship Award in 2021, and the BBS Legacy Award in 2024. His work continues to inspire and serve, driven by a profound dedication to community wellness.
